If your Micros is running slow, these are 3 things you can do while waiting for support.
- Check Internet and WiFi
- Restart the XPO Service
- Restart slow Server iPads and Micros Workstations
Internet and WiFi
Internet - run a Speedtest.
- On the Micros PC, open the Chrome browser.
- Navigate to https://www.speedtest.net and click on Go.
- Take note of the results, then add them to the ticket.
☝️ The Internet speed is good If the Download and Upload Speed are over 50 Mbps.
WiFi - run a WiFiman Speedtest.
- On a Server iPad, open the blue WIFIman app.
- Run a speed test in the Dining and Lounge.
- Take note of the results, then add them to the ticket.
☝️ This is the WIFIman app. It should be on all Server iPads if not, find iPads CWKS01-04.
☝️ This is how to start a WIFIman speed test.
☝️ This is an OK Speedtest because the speed is over 50 Mbps, but the download speed is less than 20Mbps.
If - the Internet and WiFi speeds are good, you can follow the steps below.
If - the Internet and WiFi are slow, add the speed test results to the ticket.
Restart the XPO Service

Restart Micros Workstations and Server Tablets
